Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant for HEC funded NRPU Project # (6515/Punjab/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2016) entitled “Nanoparticles Based Enzymatic Bioelectronics for Bio sensing and Bioenergy Applications”

Job Description: To perform project related experimental research work (development of innovative nanoparticles in order to improve electron transfer in second-generation electron transfer devices, and thus attain higher current densities and stabilities in enzyme-based biosensors (EBs) and biofuel cells (EBFCs) / preparation of manuscripts / thesis and presentations / regular meeting with supervisor to discuss research assignments / gathers and analyzes data / prepares materials or reports for submission to funding agencies / assistance to any other students working on assigned research projects / project meetings/other duties as assigned by research supervisor.

• Venue: Office of the Chairperson (Department of Chemistry), Room # 04, Jabir-Ibne-Hayan Block, University of Gujrat, HH Campus
• The eligible candidates are invited on a walk-in-interview at the given time and place along with one original & two sets of attested photocopies of certificates, three passport size photographs and curriculum vitae.
• Contract period is for two years (contract period for 2nd year is extendable on the availability of funds of 2nd installment).
• Enrolled student of MPhil (Chemistry) will be preferred.
• Principal Investigator (PI) will have exclusive right to terminate the contract due to unsatisfactory performance. As per rules of contract appointment
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
• Experience letter will be issued only after the successful completion of contract period
• No separate letter will be issued.
