Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant for a 17 Month contract (non extendable), under HEC funded NRPU project (No. 9572) entitled "RELIGIOUS EXTREMISM IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS: CAUSES, CHALLENGES AND SOLUTION".

Job Description: To perform project related research/ Field work/ preparation of manuscripts/ thesis and presentations /regular meeting with supervisor to discuss research assignments/ gathers and analyzes data/ prepares materials or reports for submission to funding agencies / assistance to any other students working on assigned research projects/ project meetings/other duties as assigned by research supervisor.

• Venue: Office of the Chairperson (Islamic Studies), Room # 06A. Ibn e Khuldun Block, University of Gujrat, HH Campus, Gujrat.
• The eligible candidates are invited on a walk-in-interview at the given time and place along with one original & two sets of attested photocopies of certificates, three passport size photograph and curriculum vitae.
• Enrolled students of MPhil Islamic Studies will be preferred.
• Principal Investigator (PI) will have exclusive right to terminate the engagement due to unsatisfactory performance.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
• No separate letter will be issued.
